Pancakes: Apple Cinnamon Streusel

Thursday's snow made for a really beautiful backyard view.  I love living on the river.

As always, the weekend is my time to make pancakes. Thanks to Mama Pea for this great recipe that you can find by clicking here.

Spoon out 1/4 of the batter for each pancake.  You may want to nudge the batter around a little to spread the pancakes out so that they don't bulge in the center when heated.  Flip over when lots of tiny bubbles start to form.

While cakes are cooking mix up the streusel to go on top.

Stack up your pancakes and add topping.
(All the plates I use at home are from Anthropologie!)

Always share pancakes.  You'll have many more to stash in the fridge or freezer for another day.

Fluffy. Apple. Cinnamon. Syrupy. Goodness.
