Granola Round 2 and Giveaway Winner

I know I posted a granola recipe once before, but this one blew it out of the water completely, and I've had a few requests for the recipe.  Here it is:


Healthy Granola


Dry ingredients:

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 3 T sunflower seeds
  • 3 T sesame seeds
  • 3 T unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
Wet ingredients:
  • 2 T agave nectar
  • 2 T coconut oil
  • 2 T unsweetened applesauce
  • 2 T peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup succanat or brown sugar

Preheat oven to 300. 

Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.  


Whisk all wet ingredients together in a small pot and bring to a boil.  Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.  


Mix wet and dry ingredients together and spread evenly across a baking sheet. 

Bake for 30 minutes, flipping and rotating granola every 10 minutes.
